DHES participated in the Selangor International Expo last 26th-28th November 2015 at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The expo was officiated by the Chief Minister of Selangor, YAB Tuan Mohamed Azmin Bin Ali. With the participation of over 500 companies around the world, it opened up opportunities for DHES and gained awareness generally in Selangor. During the expo, DHES had the opportunity to meet with existing clients as well as prospects to discuss existing and future business plans.

On 27th February 2015, DHES “Buy Back Centre” in Cyberjaya was formally officiated by its Director Tuan Haji Mohd Zain Bin Hassan. With the opening of “Buy Back Centre” in Cyberjaya, DHES is now ready to receive recyclable items from the local. The centre that operates on daily basis except public holiday gave the opportunity to the nearby community the privilege to gain extra income while preserving the environment. This is because DHES will exchange the recycle items with cash at a very competitive rate. Among the items that can be exchange for cash are papers, plastic bottles, newspapers, tetra pak containers, used cooking oil and aluminium cans.

On the 18th of September 2015 and 8th October 2015 DHES was interviewed by an RTM reporter for the program ‘Do It’ on Tv1. The Green Technology concept programme will display DHES’ involvement in recycling and also introduce Cyberjaya Recycling Centre which is managed by DHES. During the half and hour program that will be aired in November, DHES will also bring audience to the used cooking oil to biodiesel processing centre with the cooperation of local companies.

On 1st October 2015, DHES launched its first End of Life Vehicle (ELV) yard at Batu Muda Depot. The launching ceremony was officiated by The Executive Committee of AFSB. The opening of the ELV yard proved that DHES is committed in helping the local community to dispose their old dysfunctional cars and reduce illegal disposal. As a start, DHES receives vehicles such as cars and compactors. These vehicles will have to go through the depollution process first before dismantling and categorising by types of parts. Those parts that can no longer be used will be turn into scrap.

DHES participated in the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) 2015, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from the 9th-12th October 2015. The annual event was organized by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KETTHA). The exhibition was officiated by our Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak. The theme ‘Power the Green Economy through IGEM 2015’ gave DHES the opportunity to meet with business partners and new business prospects. During IGEM 2015, DHES showcased the importance of recycling to the public where the responses were really encouraging. On the other note, DHES also won the best booth under the category of below 36 square metre.
